Don McElroy was a very good friend of ours. I rate him one of the best of all time,to bad he went on his head at B.G.

Well we didn't get it till after Indy of 1990, Had it running late in that yr.
I'll cove

r it when I get to the 90's.
1992 Gators had bye -run for class but didn't run under index & NHRA just passed a rule that your had to run 5/10 under ,so we didn't get the class win

OLDS had ALL the racers up for a show at the Headquarters iN Lansing,Mich

Paul Rossi built this car and Larry Harrell who owned a carpet shop in Calif bough it.
we meet him & his wife nice people.

When we meet Bill Felker in 73 I didn't know we would become such good friends. Not ma[IMG]

Bill lived with his Grand father Mr. Pennington , Knew a lot about 396 engines and when out of his way for us

With all the talk about TK engines I said lets try one, Claide put the wrong cam in which we found out when we got there,When I took the engine back Ralph took me"If I knew you were serious I would have built you a better motor". Thats the way I remember it .

Bill 1973 at home, he worked at "Orrick's 66.

Was friends with larry nelson & Tom Ward, won class at 4 NHRA Nationals in the Dodge 600 & IHRA also.
