Boy that's as clear as mud...why would anyone leave after the first race unless you broke. Hmmmm...what can I do that weekend....I know NOT GO RACING ?

Thats my thoughts, NOT GO RACING FOR THE OCTOBER RACE.

Hey Jack
how's this for a date........ "as soon as my hand is better" ! ............... - just kidding - It wouldn't matter any way as I know that the rules are the rules if the fields are closed, that's that, I'm out & I have no beef w/ that.

I'm just thinking back to when i first got in to this, in the early 90's, events always had a pre-determined or pre-scheduled rain date in the event of inclement conditions. They've gotten away from that in recent years.

So I'm not knocking any one, I'm just thinking that it's sort of unfortunate to combine the two races into one weekend, that's all. I wish it didn't have to be that way. My situation was different, I wasn't going to make the Atco race regardless because of the hand injury.

On a lighter note though, the surgically repaired tendon and nerve are healing up, Its been 8 weeks since the surgery. You might remember you were the 1st person I talked to after the accident. Anyway, I'm doing the rehab now and its going to be a while to get the full use back. I'm going to have to move the button for the time being and leave with the right hand, (or footbrake it). I'm planning on getting back to racing at Lebanon Valley on July 4th weekend and I'm really looking forward to it. Lets hope for glorious weather.

Angie -- Glad your hand is getting better -- keep up with the P.T. and you'll be going rounds in no time at all -- I'm sure I speak for many others out there -- we've missed you and wait for your return .

PS -- At least you'll be able to run in one event next October ! ! !
