I'm not at all emotional about this Mr Kennedy, I do not know skillman, Downey or lamb. Throw out all the other runs in question and go back to the one that he and lambeck didn't even do a burnout, think about that kinda reminds me of the Monday night football thing on espn. Come On Man!

I have never posted on this or any forum before. However I felt it nessesary to share a story about Justin Lamb. I don't know Justin personally only casually talked to him to say hi in the staging lanes etc. Two years ago at the Sonoma points race Justin raced my friend and engine customer Gary Williams. We had been having trouble with the Comet shutting off for no reason ( We later found the crank trigger pickup to be faulty) As luck would have it, the Comet shut off coming out of the water. Justin had completed his burnout and saw Gary's brother Bill and I looking under the hood trying to figure out what was wrong. Justin rolled the window down and said he would wait for us to try to fix it. The starter told him to stage and he shut the motor off and said he wanted to race of any way possible. We stare fixed it for a while and decided we couldn't make it run. We told Justin to take the single, pushed the Comet away and called it a day. I will never forget what a class move that was from a racer that we didn't know hardly at all. I felt with all that has been said on this thread I should share this story. Great job and great season Justin!

What does Charlie hitting a dragster have to do with this? Did that effect the outcome? Just curious as to what exactly you are referring to.

I try to not get sucked into the drama of keyboard racing however; I was embarrassed by the negativity of this thread. I’m not sure of all the details of what happened? What I know is Justin has earned more points than the other 1000 plus racers in Stock Eliminator. If I’m not mistaken, I believe he has also won a national event in 4 or maybe 5 different classes (Stk, SS, Super Gas, Super Comp) Plus a division championship or two, It was just a matter of time before he won a national championship. With that being said I would think these past accomplishments speak for themselves.
From the Swinehart family to the Lamb Family…… Congrats Jared Swinehart |

That being said how many races did young Mr Skillman win?????????????????????? Admit it your defense is based on a bias of friendship and not simple logic.

I see a bunch of accusations but not a single fact! fact: a thing that is indisputably the case. accusation: a charge of wrongdoing not necessarily based on proof. Anyone openly questioning the integrity of Larry Gilley or the Lambecks is someone who has not a single clue who these folks are and the way they race. I can tell as a matter of fact from personal experience that Larry Gilley would lay down for no one! And the reputation of the Lambecks is beyond reproach. Based on your statements in earlier post, you obviously have some deep rooted resentment against the West Coast that are not based in reality! |

Skillman had to take a 2nd rounder while Lamb didn't take anything less than a 3rd round. All of Skillman's wins counted for 105 points while Lamb's Denver national win only counted for 95 points. So I guess you're not exactly using logic either. Last edited by stanman; 11-05-2013 at 12:04 PM. |

Has anyone asked Mr Lambeck about it? His car could have had a problem keeping him from making a good run, and told Mr Lamb to not take a chance on throwing a round away. I would have done the same thing insead of a guy going red against me when I could not come back. Has anybody asked?
I have a hard time believing all this.
