Maybe Bob Lambeck was working to get a 'Contingency Award' from both tire manufacturers.

Much like many racers in the late-60's and early-70's that put
a Hooker Headers decal on one side of the car, and a Doug's Header
decal on the other side.

Wouldn't be the first time that was tried.........

That would have been me. I got that info from the man hisself. He had both fender tags for the cars at the time.

Are you sure that he was not talking about the fender tag for the Landy dart and his dart that is shown?

He also had the Landy tag for #859. . I remember him saying he had 2 LO cars that he campaigned.. He knew the location of both cars, had both fender tags for them at one time.. One guy wasn't interested in getting the tag back on the car. The other is currently on the car.

I would quess it is the same car, going by decal placement. The Dodge on the Quarters, Hurst on the lower forward front fenders, & Holley on the lower rear side of front fernders.

In the early days of the Division one NHRA Pro Stock circuit there were many Hemi Darts & Cudas competing. Those types of cars competed at the national event level for a few years with less than stellar results. I remember herb McCandless running one and Melvin Yow if my fuzzy mind is working.
