Actually I dont know why it posted like its some BIG SECRET!! but NHRA wanted a
CIC type Index system like Comp the only other option the SRAC had PERIOD......

One only has to look at Comp and see the result of the CIC system. No matter how much 'diversity' NHRA tries to show, the numbers are going down. Barely got a full field in Indy. Nothing against the guys in comp, hell we got one. The CIC system is aimed at one car per class per nation, not 15000 runs in Stock and 11000 in Super Stock and some 39 SS/AH or 30 G/BA. 313 different Comp cars thru Oct 1 (Nitro Joe) compared with 1006 different cars in Super Stock and 1435 in Stock. There are almost as many cars in A/B/C/SA as in Comp as an eliminator. I just don't see the CIC doing anything for S/SS unless the eliminator is run off of index rather than dial-in. If that were to happen, this forum would explode.
