same here. There is no reason for Force to make that announcement today, everyone knows he's done for at least the rest of this season.

Sorry guys. I am not a FB guy. John Force Racing page does not show a retirement. Some people have to much time on their hands to create pages for other people.

The FB account that mentions the retirement is labelled "Brittany force", note the lower case 'f'. Her actual account (I think) is "Brittany Force", with a capital 'F'.

I had listened to this video early today. I found it to be the most sincere, humble speech that John Force has ever made.

I loved it when he said that he was listening to his doctors. Best thing he can do in this situation.

Great to see Force well on the road to recovery. You could see in the message that he still is not at full speed. He did sound like he will make a full recovery and be back at the racetrack. Not sure about driving again and he does not need to do that. He is one of the greatest of all time drag racers and the face of NHRA. Best wishes on a full and complete recovery.
