Re: Crate Motor Class
To the people that are thinking this is a good thing please remember. Crate or not these were class racers that have been hung out to dry. Many of these individuals will not build another combination for the money or just because they are scared to be hung out by NHRA. They will find another way to race and will not be back. So everyone have a good chuckle and raz the IHRA guys but be very careful what is around the corner. Just a thought

Re: Crate Motor Class
Hey Ken, can we just kill this thread? I think the dead horse has beaten and is now unrecognizable.

Re: Crate Motor Class
Yeah but then the only thing left is for everyone to work on their cars. It's just so much easier to cry on the internet (I'm here too).

Re: Crate Motor Class
WOW Bill Nees is going to have a cow about this..
D In a history-making decision made at the request of the teams, NHRA will allow Pro Stock racers to run any currently approved engine combination in any currently approved body, regardless of the manufacturer, during the 2018 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season. |

Re: Crate Motor Class
I doubt it Dan. NHRA is just trying to figure out what to do with a handful of wealthy team owners who would sue the NHRA if the NHRA did away with their dying eliminator. Maybe YOU should try suing the IHRA for doing away with YOUR eliminator.
