Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
A pal of mine had one of the two lithium batteries in his Comp car catch fire. Thankfully, the car was sitting in the race shop and he was working inside his trailer or the shop, business office, four race cars and dyno would have been toast.

Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
Autumn picked up the radiator today, so working on mounts and figuring out an overflow can mount. I also roughed out a few brackets and started on a regulator mounting plan.

Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
Thought I'd throw my 2 cents in on the battery discussion...I've been running a pair of the 11 lb Brailles for 3 seasons now, and they are awesome. At the Topeka divisional a couple of weeks ago, I pulled a bonehead move and left the water pump running for about 4 hours. When they finally called us up, I got in the car, hit the switch, and nothing! Completely dead! Threw the charger on for about 10 minutes and it was enough to get it running. Drove to the lanes (thanks, alternator!), and had to start it twice to move up...no problem! My wife had the jump box with her, but we didn't need it. Not bad for 3 year old batteries. I'll definitely buy them again when the time comes.

Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
Want to give a shout out to James Hill and Jared Groff from Groff Motorsports in Snellville, GA for helping us with some brakes. Took great care of us and kept in touch with updates the whole way. Fabulous service!

Re: H-I-J '76 Nova re-fit.
Worked on a bit of everything this weekend. Rear was back apart because I wasn't too keen on the no pinoin spacer thing, I just couldn't get it perfect so I added the sleeve. Worked on some fuel lines, finished all the brake hard lines, brake light switch and measured for the flex hoses. Started working on the new rear brakes, steering wheel came in but still no quick release mount (been like 8 weeks).
