Sorry, Jeff for my misinformation. I heard this from what I thought was a reliable source, but I apologize to you for posting just a rumor. I will try to make sure before I put anything else on that it is the truth.

Yep, the Mega Maniac has finally accomplished what Drooze said it would do, from the start. The record will likely settle in at around 10.04 and somewhere around 135/136 mph.
The record is isn't out out reach for a really fast legal A/SA car, since we really don't want horsepower. But it is stout enough to keep the pretenders on the curb watching the parade of real cars go by. Drooze revenge is now in the record books. David The New Hemi Guy |

Jeff
If it's not the size listed you were cheating so trying to get it approved after you were caught is B. S. That is why stock is not stock any longer someone was caught cheating and got it changed after kissing the rear end of the right guy . I guess your problem now is who do you kiss . |

David, you can thump your chest all you want, but in MHO, you wouldn't know a real car unless it hit you in the *****. The people that made the real cars go fast (Keith included) know that it takes far more work than a BOGUS horsepower rating and stroking a check. ANYONE that chooses to do that can....and MANY can, but will not because they do not want to be a party to nhras' scam with Ford, Chrysler, and now GM. All of the heads up runs since these cars were allowed in Stock Eliminator have been GIFTS from nhra and there is nothing you can say to defend it. Maybe the new cars can make it on their own.....time will tell, but you have a long way to go to earn the respect of the hard working racers that got us to this point. "Parade of real cars go by".....give me a break.

Just got a note from Larry Sullivan that Skillman did blow it up and the cleanup is likely to take at least half an hour.
