Harry 6674,
Buy a Pro trans, nothing better ... ATI convertor, find a great machine shop like Burtonsville Performance Machine (301) 490-3131 and have Bub Whitaker and the gang build you a motor. It's a total combination, just buying parts and an engine don't make you fast, you have to work on it. These combos are not easy to make fast ... good luck

ME! I just hate "PAPER CARS". NHRA could and should fix the proplem, in a single word "delete". NHRA has deleted cars in the past, and of all cars, the 1967 427 Corvette

Yes, NHRA deleted the 67 427 L-88 Corvette, supposedly there were less than 50 built (36 is a number tossed about commonly) though there are two within 50 miles or so of Nashville TN. And no, I'm not talking about the two Super Stock cars that were run here by Mike Lynch and Tony Rhodes.

I was thinking more like 20 L-88's and the option cost was $947.90 and 16 L-89's at a cost of $368.65 extra.
