Re: Arizona Nationals
Just got a picture from a friend in Scottsdale, snow in the yard and low 40's. They are hoping for mid to upper 40's when they go a ball game tomorrow. Going to be hard work for the NHRA track crew to get the track dry and ready in these conditions.

Re: Arizona Nationals
I got an NHRA text about 15 minutes ago saying they predict about 2 hours before the track is ready.

Re: Arizona Nationals
They found Dragster and trailer. Body panels, tools generator, and TV were missing so far.

Re: Arizona Nationals
They tried to run Q1 for the nitro cars on a cold, green track. They ran about 15 funny cars and about half of the top fuelers. Out of all of that there was exactly one full pass, I think it was Matt Hagan, at 3.94.
They told most sportsman categories to put their cars away until tomorrow, including stock and super stock. They may yet send TD, TS and a couple of others down the track. And they'll probably still aim for another pro session, but I have my doubts it'll happen. |

Re: Arizona Nationals
Looks like the fuel cars can't get down the track and most of the top fuelers did not run, I hope not another fiasco. Tom

Re: Arizona Nationals
Now it seems all sportsman categories get Q1 tomorrow morning and then into eliminations.
