[QUOTE=As cool as it is supposed to be, slowing the car down enough to stay out of trouble would be tough too.

You guys have fun.[/QUOTE]

Hey Ed. We will have to get together so Byron and I can teach you the 1000 ft dump! LOL.

Working on an adjustable throttle stop today. I was told 83% to 85% was good for 2 tenths. Hope that is right. I can dump it at 1000', but am not good enough to race it that way. I have to dial honest and drive it out the back door, unless I can see I am ahead. Div 4 is full of fast cars. I pretty much always leave first. Lots of CJs & hood scoop cars here. I pretty much never have control of the stripe.

Talking Re: baytown mud fest

My car had already quit running by the time I got it to 1000 ft., so it didn't matter much if I dumped or not!

Sure but there is something to be said about a flame belching unicycle at 200+ mph. And at least they don't have throttle stops and delay boxes.

Doesn't do anything for me. I don't see anybody hanging on the fence to watch them.

Ed I think you need to talk to the Guy in Georgia about the 1000 ft dump. Tom

Tom, I just saw what you were talking about. Hope he is proud thinking he is the only one that can do that.
