D2 starting line crew did a great job today giving us a place to race. Hats off to all of the crew. It begs the question: If its cheap and doesn't work, why is it better than the stuff that cost a little more and works? The cheep stuff affects the bottom line in a very negative way. Everyone wants to win and hates being beat by a bad track.

Larry don't know who did the track prep today but I do know that when Jim Howard and his crew does it on a weekly basis it is second to none we have made over a thousand passes down that track so I can say from experience! Hate the low car count but June in Ala. can be tough and why is NHRA having all these races back to back??? MMP used to draw a big car count I remember one time over 400! Good luck on Sat. hope you will come back next year!

Another bright shiny day here! I think 3 more stockers ran this morning that just got here. We will all get 1 more run this morning and then start racing.

More later. Oh it is going to be 93 today!

25 cars just made the final run. Longhany blew up his engine yesterday and drove to Robbie Shaw's last night to borrow his engine. They got it put in, but have not got it to start yet. Jeff Adkinson finally got down the track today. Probably heavy to keep it from spinning.
