Re: Engine Builder????
There's alot more to class engines than the air pump itself ..It's after the sale that Bub and the folks at Burtonsville Machine accel. Ironically, Bob Beach built my bracket race engine, which wins money for me to dump into my Bub engines.

Re: Engine Builder????
For a Ford, Chyrsler or Chevy you cant go wrong with B@B Automotive in long island, NY. They build them all and they are all very fast. Many national records, class wins and even a national championship. Ask for Glenn (516) 599-7182, you wont be disappointed.

Re: Engine Builder????
Here is an answer, all the people mentioned can build you a great engine, its what you do with it that counts. If you do not pay attention to the builder and go your own way and have no idea how to get the most out of the engine then you mite as well build it yourself. In the old days it was called threshing, Bernie Agaman was one of the best. You try anything and everything. So who do you pick? Someone easy to talk to like Bub, and he has the answers you need to know to start with. Just getting an engine will get you no where fast. Also Woodro is another easy goin guy with alot of info. Pick one you feel comfortable with and then write everything down and follow instructions. Good Luck !

Re: Engine Builder????
Excellent point Bob P... Of all the engines I do, a lot of them are cookie cutter or clones and we test them with the same carb and headers. Its fun to see that when they all make the same HP at the same point and they end up in different cars, with different carbs & headers, what the performance differences are...
