Billy, many years ago I parted out one of these cars for the engine. I didn't want to let the shell go with the Spicer rear in it but a hard hit on the rt. rear had tweaked the caliper and rotor and I figured the axle tube was wonky. In retrospect, I should have pulled the rear end.

You guys got me thinking.....
I have a state of the art Chevy Drop Out Center Section with maybe a 5.38 gear Henry's Axles, MOPAR spline with heat treated Stahl-Moroso side gears, Steel carrier bearing cap, alternate Posi Plate stack and the back of the housing has a tension bolt to pre-load the cap. State of the art in 1965...

Are aftermarket 12 Chevy diffs legal in stock and super stock?
