I think the generator exhaust rule is the best rule they have ever made. We have been using the Gen-Turi stacks for several years now. I have always said they should be manditory. As close as we all are in the pits I don't people think about all the Carbon Monoxide.

crotch belt must be anchored behind the chestline....this will have us move the tube back quite a bit in most cars...

Thanks Duane...I have to look at mine, it might actually be under my butt which would probably be ok...
But of course, the slot in my Kirkey is out farther than that so will they make me cut a new hole in the seat ? Probably no one will ever look....

Technically, the crotch strap has always had to be mounted back farther than it is in most cars... ...... Years ago, at Indy, I was told my attachment point was too far front.. ......... When I questioned where the proper placement was supposed to be, I was told by a Div 3 tech man" I want to look down the top of your head and out your ***** hole and see the mounting bolt". Sure made it easy to remember . .......Tom

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is Dennis Ridgeway DRE ,I met with NHRA many times at PRI as of Sat night This is what will happen Danny told me the wording was wrong they will post something on web,I know this is messed up but they are getting it straightened out. Also they have said in a SFI meeting and NHRA that the 7.2 is not going to be required for sportsman cars and they have no intentions to in the future. This is DIRECTLY FROM NHRA AND THE SFI MEETING . They have a chart of each class and diaper requirements that I gave them to simplify things , Danny said he would print. So with all of this said please be patience lets see what happens .This is as frustraiting for me as it is for all of the racers Thanks Dennis Ridgeway

(this was taken from dennis's post)
Slick, how does binky know what is going on when nhra has not made a decison yet?
all these rules need to be worked out soon, so we will know what to buy!

Bunky didn't say anything about the diaper. I just asked him about the helmet for my partner Alan because he wears an open face helmet. Heard the diaper thing elsewhere. I still haven't bought one yet.
