Was looking at HP for a Chevelle with a 350/300.
NHRA lists it at 275...mine is at 290hp

Bob Benders craftiness got his 350/255 69 wagon set at 263 hp..!
My car could run N/SA with weight..

Asked NHRA to set mine the same and they said NO !

Good lord..Sounds like the fake news on one particular cable news network
Your first mistake was asking you know who, anything.
Full size 69 Chevys all carry the same ratings. 263 in Stock, automatic.

No Mark...
Looking at the Sedan and 4 door they get 350/255 listed at 275hp.
Bob’s wagons 263 hp same engine.

1968 427/390 corvette was at 371 now 366....but not others.

Just interesting how identical engines in the cars do not receive the same rating.

The only ones at 275 in the '69 full size cars are manual trans. Everything else is at 263.

Dan is correct, NHRA only lowered the HP on 69 full size wagons!

Dwights site is informative but incorrect.

Thank you..
It was lowered several times. Originally 280 to 275.

Located all the dates.
Bob's wagon dropped to 272 (1/1/2018), then briefly 267 then to 263 (1/1/2019)…!
