Re: helmet
I'm telling you guys, if you want the right fit, and a helmet that meets all the requirements, and the best price, check out motorcycle dealers in your home town.

Re: helmet
If you want the best look at Shoi and Arai the cost is commensurate with the quality. You'll need to open your wallet.
Otherwise would recommend buying from those who support us at the track: JKR 443-506-0228 Jeff Kundratic

Re: helmet
I agree with Ron. The Harley Dealer has plenty of helmets. That's where I have got mine for years.

Re: helmet
I think the helmet manufactures were caught with their pants down!
They knew darn well that there would be a HUGE demand for the 2017 racing season with all the Snell SA2005 helmets done at the end of the 2016 season. I ordered a helmet for my wife, the next day it got cancelled, they had no inventory left on the shelf! I did finally find her one, but there is not a lot to chose from right now and many places are showing shipping in March of 2017........ |

Re: helmet
I just bought a nice HJC full coverage helmet Snell 2015 at the local bile shop. They had plenty of choices and stock.

Re: helmet
Ordered a HJC from Jegs, in stock, $135.00. My 2005 helmet was a HJC, good helmet for the price, plus you can see out of it. Merry Christmas everyone! Dyno

Re: helmet
Just a tip, you can buy a M2010 helmet from RevZilla for less than $90 and free shipping. I do a lot of motorcycling (last year including Alaska which is a dream ride BTW) and RevZilla is hands down the best mail order place I've ever dealt with for buying any kind of riding gear or bike parts. Unfortunately they don't carry SA rated helmets but they do have manufacturers like Bell who are BIG in motorsports of all kinds and paid contingency last year at the Divisional level anyway (not sure what their contingency reqmts are).

Re: helmet
I've been looking for one myself. Seems many of the SA certification helments have provisions for HANS neck collars and the M certs do not.
