- 1 of 21 A/FX Comets built in 1964 - Car has had 5 other owners, all documented - Paul won Ultra-Stock title at Daytona in 1964 with this car - Original build sheet, original disclaimer tag, door tag and all of its original serial number stampings - All lightweight components unique to this car like fiberglass body parts, seats, aluminum transmission, rear end and air bonnet are all original - Tires are NOS period correct drag tires - Full picture documentation of restoration. |

A concept at a 1964 Auto Show. Way ahead of it's time and not given credit for the development of aero in the modern day. Called the "Tarpon" here. It became the "Marlin" when it went into production for 1965.
