I have recieved a message from Joe Pappas via Stewart regarding the Mopar Missile name on the wire car instead of Don Carlton on the sides.

"There is no doubt that the wire car was meant to be the next Missile and it indeed was - minus a paint job... Arnie did the right thing in keeping the Missile the Missile. Just because the car had a slightly different paint job with minor detail differences on it AFTER the Missile program ended is of no matter. Donnie painted and trimmed the car slightly differently - so what? At that point it was no longer the Missile."

My apologies to the Missile crew for my opinion based on old photos. I think it is obvious to anyone familiar with the cars that it was clearly intended to be the next Missile, just the program was terminated before it ever hit the track with the Missile name on it.

James, so whats going on with the Motown Missile '72 Plymouth Cuda that was there...it seems that they really haven't done to much work on it in the past year or so since it was last reported on.
