Tasca's cars are not LEGAL in Stock or S/S. They are only interested in seeing how fast they can make it go. (no holes barred)

Jim,

I believe they have changed the blower and blower pulley, as well as the throttle body. I don't know the weight of the car either. They just want to make that race go as fast as it will go. Don is right.

I don't think a Ford-O -Matic would bolt up to the back of one of those modern engines. That's still the rule, isn't it?
Then again , I think an 8 second S/S'er would be awful hard on a C-4.
Anybody know what Rock Haas is using?

They do. (or can) You can order one with a C-2 transmission (Reid Case two speed Powerglide clone)

I read an online magazine article about the build up of the 2010 Cobra Jets and they show the Reid glide bolted up on a 5.4 Blower motor. I'll look for the article and post the link. Neat read.

Oh...didn't know that! So I would assume a 2-speed PG with a bellhousing adapter is for SS only? I actually didn't know you could have a bellhousing adapter in Stock or Superstock.

And the racers proclaimed from high on the scoreboard:
"And the roller rocker will be the ruination of Stock!"

Is the 352 motor available now?
If so, where can I buy one?

I am a Ford Racing WD and I have not seen a part number for the engine yet. I have seen a part number for the intake manifold and valve covers.
thanks, Roland

... So, in this age of 4,5, and even 6 speed O/D electronically controlled automatic transmissions, NHRA is now buying a manual 2 speed Powerglide as an option in a 2010 vehicle? Unbelievable...or is it ,really?

You guys realize ,of course, the 904 3 speed that came in the mail trucks behind the Chevy II 4 cylinder, that actually bolts to a Chevy V-8 ,is not legal in Stock or Super Stock.
