Patsy-while I am just a huge stock/super stock enthusiast from the left coast, (amatuer bracket racer, amazed at how fast current s/ss cars are) I wanted you to know how much I appreciate these trackside reports. I do not know any of the racers, except from following on line and in National Dragster, but being able to follow the et/winners here is something I look forward to all day when I check in and realize you guys are at another event and you are keeping everyone up to date. Thank you and I hope someday I will get to meet you and Larry.

I really want to thank you for the live coverage you bring to us keyboard racers. Hopeful, I'll be out sometime soon. I'd say car count is off because of fuel prices. Hey, could you do me a big favor? While your walking through the staging lanes could you see what HP Sammy P. is claiming. There's several different combinations that will fit in that car and I'm just curious. Thanks, Have a great time. |

Well lots of cars came in overnight. There were 81 stockers on the 1st pass this morning. The weather isn't looking too good for today, so they are running everyone pretty quickly. Superstock is running now, then superstreet, then we run again for qualifying then superstock, super gas, then 1st round of class.
Terry, Larry says Sammy has a 427, 400 in his corvette. We had 9 B/SA cars this morning. Funny note: I'm listening to Super stock running and Sammy Pizzalato is running Dan Fletchero. Dan said he just wanted to fit in down here in Cajun country. DRC should be putting qualifying up soon. Patsy |

damn im not happy im not there... 1st cajun's ive missed... between fuel prices and the little fact that we didnt know bob shaw was gonna blow up and i could win class and race cic race or i woulda come !!!
thanks patsy and larry for the "feel of the race" reports... they are great ! tell everyone i said hi, good luck in class tommorrow.. and feel free to eat ONE crawdad for me... you can drink as much beer for me as you can.. but i limit myself on the crawdads.. They have been talking about cooking a ton of crawfish tonight and I'm sure we will eat our share. We will be sure and eat 1 for you Jack.
