Re: Live fron the "Pennsylvania Dutch Classic"
I saw that Mustang stocker at Pro Start Race Cars, where Kurt was correcting some things, and if it wasn't for the rear slick size I would've sworn it was a Super Stocker...

Re: Live fron the "Pennsylvania Dutch Classic"
Last night the pits were buzzing with one simple question that was centered around Jim Daniels 8.31 shot yesterday in SS/AH -- on Monday will he and the rest of the SS/AH competitors receive horsepower or an index lowering ? Jump in with your opinion.........
Today is another stinker as far as the weather goes --- 59 degrees at this moment with 67% humidity and another low barometer at 29.47 ...all this puts us at just over 1100' and climbing fast .Its very overcast and even feels wet out .See picture below . We are to start in an hour or so -- first out will be SuperStreet followed by Stock .Just heard the Jet fire up so --- hopefully we'll start on time .

Re: Live fron the "Pennsylvania Dutch Classic"
The last few days in Chicago have been miserable.I don't want to jinx you,but I think your weather has the potential to get a lot worse than that in the next day or so.

Re: Live fron the "Pennsylvania Dutch Classic"
We're on hold ! ! And have been for over an hour - see pics below - just after Superstreet and Stock ran some breeze came in and put leaves everywhere on the track .This will surely cut into class elims ....
They just now called for drivers back to cars.......

Re: Live fron the "Pennsylvania Dutch Classic"
I think we will see quite a few more third pedals next year.

Re: Live fron the "Pennsylvania Dutch Classic"
I think it's a bummer that Jared and family don't have a dog in this fight. Miss seeing you guys out there!
I certainly don't mind stick cars and if everybody converted the world would be a much closer to perfect place. I think any SS/AH run in the 30's is so rare they deserve to be #1 and shouldn't get hit. There are still quite a few racers in that class that struggle to run much into the 8's at all but I still enjoy seeing any of the Hemis out there. |
