At 137 MPH! Hell of an LT1! Wonder if I parked close to him I could get some of that excess hp by osmosis? :-)

It was a lot of fun, and loaded with mistakes just like every year. It sorta equalizes over the race. I got hit bad because of extremely bad driving the first round, got a bye the second and red the third which eased the pain. After that it was totally self inflicted. The rules were always out there. Over .7 under, you got hit that much the next round (down from 1.00 under, but moved to .7 as NHRA lowered the indexes .7). It was fun.

You sure did good (Mr) Jeff
![]() It is always good to see you at the races, and I hope your brother gets well real soon. I find it interesting that the C.I.C. race brings out more soft combo's than just the "new" cars, but hardly anyone comments. Sort of how you get busted for being a used car salesman, and Jack Matyas is one too if I remember correctly, but walks on water with the haters. By the way, both Jack and Jeff are two of the best guys out there. See you at the races, Wayne Kerr Last edited by Wayne Kerr; 03-21-2011 at 09:47 PM. Reason: spelling |

I never met Jack, but I can tell you Jeff is as good a guy you will ever meet. Don't think I've met anybody from Louisiana that wasn't.
