Re: What up with nhra...
Executive salary's come to about $90,000 a week and the entire pro purse is $196,000. If this non-profit was ever rated by Charity Navigator it would definitely be rated an "F". |

Re: What up with nhra...
+Ok Here goes . I feel that racers and NHRA should be involved in making sure NHRA survives this temporary down turn . NHRA has been a very good organization for some racers who run at NHRA races .The environment for all Business and non for Profit companies is not great right now . I support NHRA and hope that the decision-makers at NHRA make the right decisions for racers in the future who race at NHRA. The tuff times right now are just temporary and after the election all will be well hopefully . Running a company is not easy and I hope they make the correct decisions to survive for the Good of all racers regardless if you run at their races . >I just fell off My personal soapbox.

Re: What up with nhra...
Ya know Don, I'm pretty sure that a great many Racers both pros and Sportsmen have seen a downturn in their businesses and profits. I would think that the "executives" running the organization would realize that. Between that and the lack of events I don't think that it would be a bad thing if the executives decided to take a good sized pay cut as a show-of-faith.

Re: What up with nhra...
Well Don, IF (big if) the "decision-makers" have, in reality, taken a pay cut already, it would be beneficial for everyone concerned if they would let the unwashed masses know about it. There's a reason why so many Racers call the NHRA headquarters the "Ivory Tower".
