Coming up this Saturday, July 25th is race #2 of the FMSP Stock/Super Stock mini series. Gates will open at 3 p.m. with time runs beginning at 5 p.m. Run order will be Footbrake, Pro, Combo, & Juniors. $60 car & driver entry with 100% payback. No entry to enter the points.

Track will also have a test & tune on Friday night from 7 p.m.-midnight if anyone wants to go early & get some runs. Overnight parking will also be available.

Hope to see everyone on Saturday!

Hey Tabitha...with later "start"...probably good both for heat and possible weather (looks good now)...we came up for first race...arrived @ gate with several others 9 a.m. or so (sunshine) to be advised race cancelled due to impending afternoon weather...son comes in from Minneapolis (our "problem" for sure...not yours)...couldn't come back for re-schedule the next week...will/can there be some weather advisory available to save us a little travel time (about 2-1/2-3 hrs. from Mooresville) if...cancellation is in place?-thanx again...see ya' Saturday-

Sorry about your travel with the first event but I posted it just as soon as I was notified that the track was cancelling. Right now weather for Saturday is looking awesome with 0% of that "R" word that none of us racers like. I will always post here just as soon as I get a notification from the track as far as a change &/or cancellation or if you ever have any questions regarding these events, feel free to call me at 910-591-6188. I look forward to seeing y'all on Saturday.

We're 2 days away from Race #2 of the Stock/Super Stock mini combo series at FMSP. Gates will open Saturday at 3 p.m. with time runs beginning at 5 p.m. Run order for Saturday's race is Footbrake, Pro, Combo, & Juniors. $60 car & driver entry fee which automatically enters you into the points. Weather is looking great for Saturday, 91* with 0% chance of non racing weather ;-)!

Also the track will have their normal Friday night test & tune if anyone is interested in getting some early runs on their car. Overnight parking is also available.

Congrats to Kevin Locklear on his win last night at race #2 of the stock/super stock mini series & Chip Johnson on his runner up. Brandon Peterson was the lone semi finalist with Jeff Warren & BrandonWhite being the quarters. We had 18 cars make first round after 2 cars suffered breakage during time runs. Robbie Draughon won Best Losing Package during first round; 6.41 dial, .5468 reaction time, 6.4134. Kevin Locklear also won Best Reaction Time during entire race with his .5104 reaction time during round 2. Thanks to everyone who came out to support this series yesterday & hope to see you all back on Saturday, August 8th for our 3rd & final race of this series!
