Re: '67 Shelby slow build
Finally brought the car home from paint (20 months) it’s still in the trailer because I didn’t realize how much stuff accumulated in my garage during that time, the car won’t fit. LOL
Now I need to clean out the garage first before I can start final assembly. Hope to be joining the fun soon.

Re: '67 Shelby slow build
Looks like the shop did a good job. Very nice color. I'm not a Shelby guy. Is that the original color?

Re: '67 Shelby slow build
Not original blue, just wanted a more modern color that “pops” a bit more. The paint was expensive but I think worth it. It was taken down to bare metal and made very straight and smooth for a 55yr old car. Multiple primer coats, sealer, base coat, 4 or 5 clear coats and about 40hr sand and buff. I’m almost afraid to touch it LOL.

Re: '67 Shelby slow build
I am trying to make the Bakersfield double in Oct. the paint came out so nice that I can’t just put the old interior back in so it’s every nut and bolt, weatherstripping, carpeting and wiring. The time in the paint shop put me behind almost a year.
