Re: Under the index for under a grand!
Just a quick shot of my 65 Chevy build. Just finished up the body work, we decided to just clear coat it ( like they do at Gas Monkey Garage/Fast & Loud on TV ) and named the car on the door. Hope those guys with those 100K stockers don't mind. I'll have about $500 in the bodywork and paint when I really finished.
Billy, thanks for the idea on the name! Will Lamprecht Div 1 I/H Stk 396/325 |

Re: Under the index for under a grand!
Ok....here we go....Billy has recruited another one into the slow and ugly force........really really ugly! 74 Pontiac LeMans 4 door with 40k miles. 350 2bbl to run Q, R, or T. Thrashing now and hope to get it done for the Dutch Classic. I'm having trouble posting any pics on here but will keep trying. Probably gonna drive Billy nuts with questions over the next couple weeks! Time to head back out to the garage where it is drydocked....

If I didn't drive him nuts picking a combo, you won't working on one lol! Looks like Q/R/T is gonna be stacked in a couple years!

Re: Under the index for under a grand!
Wayne, you should start your own build thread! As fast as you and the Kid work though it would be a short thread. And we need LOTS of pictures!
On a lighter note, I might try and get the 1K car out this weekend. I've got a "trick" DualJet all finished up and I want to give it a try before The Dutch. And if the new DualJet doesn't fix my drivability problems I just might throw a Q-Jet at it.

Re: Under the index for under a grand!
Yo! Billy.....a 1974 4 door LeMans.....you gotta love this guy. Wayne best of luck to ya. Billy will keep you on the straight and narrow. I used to race a 1974 LeMans wagon with the 350-2 bbl. Started out in W/SA, that was in 1974 however. Geez, I really won alot with that car....mostly local racing. The 4 door will look like an old Georgia State Troopers car...if ya paint it silver over blue....NEET!

Re: Under the index for under a grand!
We already decided to name the beast Buford and put the sheriff star on the door! We have the rear out and they are 2.73s....direct fit for the 4.56s.....woo hoo. Should have drive line out first thing in the morning. Converter and headers were on the doorstep when I got home. I have trouble posting pics on here tho......
