Re: The Fall f the United States, The End
John, some people on here have NEVER had a business or ran a business, put a lien or borrowed against their house to make payroll. Or had workers comp, social security, health insurance, retirement, pregnancy leave, vacations, union bull s-it etc to pay for. Payroll taxes or faced bankruptcy . So people on here blame business for everything because they are idealistic and think business is run like the government...... How about blaming the million un-Americans instead of the business. How about blaming the un-Americans for the billions$ drugs brought into our country. "No drugs available, no drug problem"... John, you see that I disagree with many on here.

Owned a labor law compliance consulting business for 5 years, you know anything about Davis-Bacon, Prevailing Wage Laws, 14B of the Taft-Hartley Act, ever worked a certified payroll of a non-union company working on a Public Works Project and recovered back wages? Don't be so naive to believe at all businessman are honest, because they are not. I am not talking about the little guy but the multi-million dollar companies that think screwing their employees in a sport. We have a mental health and drug addiction issue in the country if there was no need there would be no drug issue. By the way, what was the formula for Coca-Cola when the company first started?? Now that is the way to get a customer base! Last edited by Eddies66; 08-10-2023 at 09:52 AM. |

Ed, what makes you think I was talking about you?
Your reference of cocaine in Coca-Cola....cocaine was legally purchased at every drug store in the late 1800s and 1900s. I am old but I wasn't there.

Re: The Fall f the United States, The End
32 million people use drugs in this country, that is 11.7%. In the 70s it was heroin, in the 80s it was Coke, in the 90s it was meth, then big Pharma gets involved with opioids, and now we have Fentanyl. What a business opportunity, makes you want to hook up with your ole chemistry teacher.
