Re: Musical Tastes
Recorded by many, but this is the first commercially viable version, from 1965.
Garage Rock at it's finest.

Re: Musical Tastes
Missed a few days while at the Sports. We stunk the place up with one issue after another, but it was great to see everyone...INCLUDING the one and only Billy Nees and Superfan 1 that I previously had only met on here.
How bout some ELO today, something to make you smile a little.....

Re: Musical Tastes
Came back from State Department Duty in 1977 thinking Rock and Roll was dead, released a year earlier.."Frampton Comes Alive" gave me hope.

Re: Musical Tastes
Flashing back to 1980... I had to make a run down to NJ to pick up a 283 block at Tony Feil's. I asked a lady friend to take a ride with me, so we jumped in my 68 Ventura, with enough trunk space for 4 blocks.
Coming back, we just crossed the Tappan Zee, heading for 684. We're listening to a NY Rock station on the factory AM/ FM/ reverb. They began previewing the new Roxy Music album, Flesh and Blood...I remember this like it was yesterday. The first two songs on side two are here, but I'm going to throw a curve ball here. The first one is actually an extended re-mix from a You - tuber. ..Just as well. The second is one of the few cover songs that I like. They put their own spin on a classic...

Re: Musical Tastes
This is a band that I missed in concert, too busy with life. This song and "Whipping Post" were my favorites in Southern Rock.
