you talk like making a pass in stock eliminator is some huge accomplishment, it's not! I've been offered rides to compete in stock and super stock over the years. Going backwards at this point in my racing program, running in the 10s or even high 9s is of little interest to me not when my Chevelle ran in the 9s, 17 years ago and my firebird has been running in the 8s for the past 15 years!

because they don't have their ride height and /or suspension setup correctly. I don't have a strip taker and NEVER in thousands of passes have ever tripped the beams with the nose when braking hard.

Ed, Ed, Ed. Even after a nice weekend with no racing, so that we would
all gets lots of sleep, your still acting sleep depraved. I think where the
problem lies in people bashing you, is strictly a lack of communication.
Most of the people on this forum, and a very nice group it is, are anywhere
from Racer Mechanics, ie- can do light jobs, wiring, plumbing, tear down,
etc. Some go all the way up to Fabricators, chassis builders, and beyond.
Then we have Ed. Royal Certified, Gold Star, If not Platinum, Racer Certified, All Star, World Class, Mensa Member. It is hardly fair to most of
us who bring a mere kitchen knife to a gunfight. Please go easier on us
mortals as we attempt to catch up with your wonderfulness.

J.R.

I had a great weekend, slept well, thank you for your concern.

That said, I'm just a dumb construction guy that has been bracket and more recently class racing for over 3 decades. I've got no issue with anyone on this forum but I will continue to post my opinion just as anyone else, where and when I see fit.

Ed, I have absolutely no doubt about that. Just remember what a wise man once said. " What part of the truth and the facts don't you like!!"

It won't be for lack of trying.
