Where are you guys planning on holding this Combo? Sounds like a good idea to me.

We are looking at March 1st and 2nd right now. This is the weekend in between Gainesville and Orlando Division 2 events. We are in the midst of putting this on a flyer and setting up payouts and all the particulars. What class would you be running? We are going to run Stk/SStk as a combo, then SST/SC/SG as a combo called "outlaw" class and then a motorcycle division.

S/C, S/G and S/ST as a combo? Now you have my interest. When you get the detail of how that will be run please post it on here. I would be interested in running S/ST there if it comes together for you guys.

I still have some other questions about the track, but I'll ask them later after the details of this race are posted.

Thanks Jeremy.

Well this is what we have in mind concerning the Super Gas, Super Comp and Super Street combo. All cars will run off of a dial based on NHRA indexing for 1/8 mile for each class.

For example :

Super Comp 5.70
Super Gas 6.30
Super Street 6.90

This will be on a pro tree and will be bracket style.

So if you have a Super Comp in Lane 1 the dial will be 5.70 and the Super Gas in lane 2 with a dial of 6.30 - The Super Gas will get the green light first by .60

Let me know what you think about this idea. I think that it will make for some very interesting and exciting racing!!!!!

Sounds good so far. Next question, would each class be run seperatly until they were down to a point to where they would have to be combined? Also would S/C and S/G run on a .4 tree and S/ST on a .5 tree? I assume that when they are combined it may be possible to run a S/ST car on a .5 tree and a S/G car in the other lane on a .4 tree (but I may be wrong on this).

I will have other questions about the operation of the track itself, but those may need to be asked in a private message.

Thanks Jeremy.

Joe -

We will probably put super street in a category alone and run stk/sstk together and s/c and s/g together. Then as well as doing that we will have a Quick 32 on Saturday night.. you can pm with any questions that you might have.

Absolutly !!! The more the merrier!!!

Remember we are an "outlaw" track....lol

Yes we will be allowing anyone that falls into those categories, even those local guys who do not necessarily fall into NHRA or IHRA categories.

Well we have nailed down March 1st and 2nd 2008. We are kicking around names for the event now

We have come up with 'Orange Blossom Nationals' , 'Central Florida Nationals' and 'Fugitive Nationals'

Give us some ideas... what do you all think the name should be.

Any one ready to committ to being here???
