Did you check tdc with the head off, to see if balancer and pointer agree?

My LT1 likes less timing with C11. Runs faster on C11. Don't see how less timing could be a bad thing. Likes 35 on the dyno on C11. We don't race dyno. Runs more MPH with 36 degrees in high gear. GM calls it 10.5-1.

Damper slipped, pointer wrong, light messed up...really though, numbers mean nothing, just find what it likes and run it there. More efficient chambers like less timing in general but for a carbed 350, make a couple passes trying a little each way, what it likes is the correct amount.

He/we need a "number" for a reference when putting it back together next time.
