Adding weight to a 4 link G body?

The rules are to keep you safe: strong and durable is good, flimsy not so much.

Weld in some U channel between and to the frame rails to make a cross member, then bolt your weight to the reinforced area.

I always try to ask myself this question: what happens if.........., and will it be strong enough?
