They finally put the 252 manifold in the books after tearing me down for the 10-15th time with my 65 car. There were no intake numbers before that. I don't see why the manifolds are not approved from 64-68 they are all the same with different casting numbers. The early manifolds have the 5/16 bolt holes, though.

See if you can get a hold of Galen Govier to see if he can clear up this mess between casting numbers and part numbers |

I don't know how to get in touch with Galen. I'm not sure if his white book is a better reference than the Chrysler parts book. I'm thinking no. At this point I'll just try to find any 2bbl intake, preferably the 559 casting. I think that is the correct one. Like Paul said, it would make sense if they made all of them legal. I have a line on a 1971 single plane for a reasonable price, but my battery on my truck needed replaced. I got that done today, got the truck inspected as well. I'll try to pick it up after I get back from the Gators. Just going on Thursday as far as I know. The college where I teach is closed next week for Spring Break. I hope it doesn't rain next week.

I have a 65 Plymouth with a 273-2 barrel, single plane type. I can get the number tomorrow. I think the casting number is one number off the part number, don't know which way. Too bad Chrysler didn't do a 273 4 barrel on the b-bodys, I'd be tempted to race that car. The 273 feels more powerful than a 318.
