We just switched to Hoosier 30x9 radials. Cleaned wheel/tire bead with acetone & mounted dry. Tires are moving too much for my comfort. They are now cleaned with the same method & glued. Next races Mar. 15 & 16. See how they work this time. |

I have seen the Mickey 275 tires mounted with the spray contact adheasive, but I have not seen when they were dismounted. My Hoosier radial drag slicks are mounted to Weld Wheels and screwed, with no problems,

I run mine tubeless, no screws, no glue. Either mounted dry, or just wipe the wheel with a wet rag. I have marked them, and had them slip maybe a couple of inches first pass or two, then never move after that. My 60's are nornally 1.26 to 1.30, I often have to run them as low as 13 psi to get a green light.
