There is no such thing as a cheap 4L60E. For me, $2800 is about the going price to build one that will hold real power. Starting with a good solid core with no real damage.

Mine only has 375 bhp so a more price friendly unit is a better fit. Duane, thank you for suggesting Wayne, planning to call him real soon. Tar Heal and I both belong to the B-Body community.
