The mid 1980’s..a Jim something from the Indianapolis area had a blue 78 turbo Regal that started out in U/SA. That lasted about one race when he went something like 1.5 seconds under.
It ended up in Q and would go mid to low 13’s without much effort. |

My buddy Tony Massarie ran a simliar combo ...stupid fast but consent issues with the turbo.
