I run Toyo's on may J/SA Cutlass. They say the Toyo's are made for a stick car, but as cheap as they are I tried a set. I run 1.55 to 1.58 sixty foot times. They are also very consistent. I run 15psi on a 8" rim.

My car will hook any were, mainly due to the the HP it don't have(LOL) When you can catch them on sell they cost 220.00 a pair to your door.

Joe, what compound have you run? In my division, Donnie Hough's car will hook anywhere even in the left lane at Shreveport. I would look at your suspension setup and the compound that you run. I found that the reason that Donnie was hooking and I wasn't was because he runs Hoosiers CO6 compound and I was running CO7's. My car was hooking anywhere except the local track often call Spin City. With a good shock(Sanhuffs if you can afford), Caltracs/CompEng bar, Caltrac springs, loose front end, etc. the radials will hook as good as any bias tire. Hope this helps.

Anyone using M/T L8 compound? Have used it on a couple different sizes with good results, 32x14 and 28x9
Going with another set now |
