When my brother came home after his second Tour in 69 from Vietnam he bought from a fellow pilot a Pontiac Safari station wagon to get back home from Ft Hood, the station wagon was used to haul parts for many years from the service depot, it was a 421 cubic inch, dual exhaust with four speed and bucket seats, no radio. He used this as his tow vehicle for ten years hauling his Jr Stocker.
