Did you find out where the fuel smell was coming from? Having the same issue with my diesel

Well as strange as it may be the smell just stopped tonite---Nothing at all--I did check what looks like a "hose" from the fuel filter cannister going down to the ground and wiggled it a bit nothing came out ---But maybe it was enough to let any built up pressure or water in there escape---Will keep all posted if it returns but for now it is gone---Comp 387

check the forums at dieselstop. if i recall there was somting that would leak and puddle in the intake valley under all the crap on thost motors.

My f350 startted smelling like diesel too, as I recall it was the water drain valve on the fuel filter system. I believe it is plastic, I bought one from Ford, then I had them install it too because its kinda hard to get at. Common wear out item. Mine has 230,000 miles. Very good truck.
