Been at the Sportnationals all week. Too busy to really keep up with CR. Thursday, I had to bail early as my next-door neighbor and his wife went with Sue and I to a Dirty Knob's Concert over at nearby Newark Ohio. Really nice old, restored theater was hosting Mike Cambell and the Dirty Knobs. Mike wrote most of Tom Pettys hit songs, along with a slew of other ones. Tom was also the Heartbreakers lead guitar player. Steve Ferrone, Pettys old hall of fame drummer and Cambell show case a killer band and do several of the old Heartbreakers tunes. We were almost front row. Anyway, they did this tune. F*** That guy. Our audience participation was thru the ROOF ! We were Loud! The ladies in the audience were surprising, and the men did their part too! Good times...
I thought you guys could sing along this morning and relieve some tension.

Prayers for our country. Extremely sad that all the vitriolic rhetoric leads to such, and prayers for the family of the innocent man who was fatally shot. A house divided against itself truly cannot stand and ultimately save for the grace of God we shall reap what we have sown.

Set another place at the table
I watched this live. I can't explain the emotion of the moment from shock to fright that turned to righteous anger. I am thankful to God that the assassin's bullet missed its mark. I fear for the safety of all Americans as this evil spreads across our once-great Nation.
