Re: Heading south
We ran the 1st of the double races yesterday and even though we didn't win it was a good race making it to the 5th round. We were both 008 but my opponent was dead on and I wasn't (wrong side of a good race). I didn't run the second race I have a bunch of excuses 1, I don't like night racing. 2, It was going to get cold (for here) and I though the track may go away(it didn't). 3, I'm getting older and just didn't feel like it. I wish they would of run it today but that wasn't there schedule. I just want to say Thanks to Thomas and Ralph Hester they have to be two of the most accommodating and friendly track owner/promoters anywhere and it was good to see them again. If you've never raced at Immokalee and get the chance give them a try. Its not a fancy place but I think you'll be happy you did.

Re: Heading south
Jake sorry for not responding. Our plans are to run the early Division 2 races plus the Gator Nats and the Nats at Atlanta and bracket race when I can. I want to take advantage of the open tracks. See ya at the races.

Re: Heading south
Nope everything's the same I had planned to make a cam shaft change but talked my self out of it until the end of is year when I'm planning to go thru it anyway. I do have two carbs with me. One I'm going to have Tony Morris go thru a gas 4500 I want to try, and a 950 Alcohol carb I've tried a few times and think may be good now (Tony didn't do the 950). I may ask him to do an Alcohol carb for testing also. I've been wanting to run my car on Alcohol to see the difference I've tried a couple times with no luck. So its off to Bradenton this afternoon for a 5K to win bracket race tomorrow.
