This post pertains to chillers I was answering a question. I have the right to do that. Don?t try to slander me on a forum. I race all over the country. All you have to do is come see me and we will discuss this. be an adult.

Cuda340, its a good question, most of us that benefit from a chilled motor have chilled our cars up to the staging lanes without any problem running class or heads up at other races. I won't be at Indy, but would want to know what the norm is because you don't want to give up any advantage. It will be interesting to see if NHRA enforces the rule.

Ahh for the "good-old-days" when you went to the head of the lanes with 10 gallons of cold water in the trunk and dumped it backwards through the motor right there! ;-)

I get that you are an accomplished S/ST,S/G racer and have built a couple of very nice cars i might add,I have not seen in person, just articles here and there, You got that part right! it was pertaining to chillers, addressing stock/super stock racers ( go read it again Kieth ) and their situations not all the people that think they need to respond and give their really really valuable opinions,I?m not the great racer you are that has traveled all over the country, I?ll be at Indy in stock chillin my car which is a 1970 Ply. I think most of us that race Stock/SS echo this sentiment. I don’t see any of us telling any of them how to set up their delay box or throttle stop (although some of our fellow CLASS racers might be able to..lol).

Sure. First Amendment rights, freedom of speech, whatever you want to call it.

You jokers, and you in particular, think your opinions count. I suggest getting a class car and showing the rest of us how smart you are. You won’t or can’t, one of the two.

But keep pounding on that keyboard like it matters.

I was there Billy. Englishtown stagging lanes after stock time trials looked like a lake. I was usually dragging the little red wagon around like Jack and Jill. Then again we were all trying to go fast back then too since first round was random pick. Lots of circled Rs.
