The Hoosier bracket radials are different than the drag radials:

They have a softer compound than even the C06 & are a heavier tire even though they're slightly narrower.

The M/T PBRs are pig fat heavy, but they still work very well.

I run between 18 to 21 lbs. of air pressure, lately it has been 20 lbs.

Here's another thread with some Hoosier drag radial & M/T bracket radial information. I'm pretty sure Mr. Smith has seen this.

A thread about a 9" tire no mind a M/T tire in no way answers Larry's question nor helps him decide.

Oh that's right, he already decided what tire to run.

I've gotten 5 PMs between Larry & Adger not only thanking me for the contributions to the thread. They also had questions & other comments related to the thread.

There are differences between the drag radials & bracket radials not just marketing. I provided the differences between the two tires in the OP & the link provides some of it. Plus, provides other information to their discussions.

Take that tidbit to your therapist & maybe he or she will pretend to give a shyt.

Now, back to the original question of what's the difference. You come up with the clueless comment.

Conjecture NOT a factual comment!

Larry & Agder,

The Hoosier link shows the two tires & their compounds. Then using Hoosier compound chart, you can see the DBR compound is on the soft side of the C06 compound.

As for the different weights, you can look that up in Jeg's. They have the DDR at 32 lbs. & the other drag radial at 25 lbs.

All you know is the information available online to the public. You are not privy to Hoosier’s engineering, production and marketing meetings.
