I talked to my dad who is "Crew chief to the starts" this weekend! The report from second round was AR ripped a .037 had .03 or so on the tree. My car is an Auto 1-2 and the sifter is in manual second when you leave, the sift light does activate on the 1-2 gear change but no need to move the shifter. You guessed it AR slid the shifter into high gear at the 1-2 shift point and it killed about a dime in ET. Not a bad run for first time racing stock!

Just talked to Alan, didn't give up the stripe, pulled an inadvertant rookie move, nothing that seat time wouldn't cure. Awfully hard to jump in a car and repeat each move as needed.

Congrats on the drive and the round win! Gotta start somewhere.

Congrats to the Gaynor gang for setting the car up so old Alan COULD drive it. That's what is SO COOL about this sport, the PEOPLE that make it what it is!

C ya in Pomona,

Unk

Been there, done that. If it was easy everybody would do it. Good job, Allen.
Interesting match up coming in 3rd rd of stock. Bill Koski and Brian McClanahan. Brian's going to have to give Bill at least 4 seconds head start.
