Woohoo, got my new (old) car number. Thanks NHRA!
Sent in my request by mail and within the week I had an email response with my membership and competition number. I had to email them back that I don't wear glasses
and they responded same day and it was fixed with a new copy the next day.
Retired January 1st and getting back into drag racing after 20+yr This year is getting off to a good start. Now I just need the car back from paint to start final assembly.

Still in paint jail, did a little bit of mock up to look at colors and fit between various parts. I’m a victim of supply chain back log delays and can’t button up the engine yet.

Almost reluctant to post updates following Todd’s 8.50 build. LOL
Car is in final primer coat, 1 more wet sand and ready for color.

Natural A car, so it fits AA - B /SA. I will probably start out in B. I built an FE powered super gas car that would run mid 9.50's with stock heads and intake but it was quite a bit lighter and used large tires. This is my first attempt at stock and 9" tires. I'll be happy with mid tens when I first get it out on the track.

After 18 months in paint shop I should be getting the car back in a few weeks. Just needs final buff.
Some assembly required LOL

This is taking forever, car still in paint jail. Lost about 3 months due to all the rain and a re-roof at the paint shop. Almost finished with buffing. (little specs must be on my cell phone lens because there were none on the door.) I'm going to have a hard time finishing the build waiting for the first nick or scratch!
