That said, I am guilty of not working on my car as much as I should in the winter. But, let's see how motivated you are to work in your garage with no heat, when it's 20 degrees outside, there's 2 feet of snow on the ground, and you haven't seen the sun in months! I know....excuses, excuses...Just don't poke the sleeping bear unless you're willing to deal with the LONG consequences...

When this snowball got rolling, who knew that it was going to take so long and get so big simply to make my car look like this:
![]() Funny thing is, I just might be at Epping as a spectator now. If my mid-west sales guy ends up coming into Boston next week for training, I'm going to drive up a day or so early to torture myself at the track. It may be the only drag strip I see this year... And from here on out I'm going to keep the text portion of my posts short. I figure if a picture is worth a 1,000 words, in most cases I should be able to get away with only one or two pictures in my posts.

Pete - we're headed up there - finally!
Jason - are you going to make your car look like Rock's?? Is it a new car or are you redoing yours? Have been out of touch if these are redundant questions! I like reading your posts - always loved good stories!! Hope to see you Epping or Columbus!

Regarding your questions Lynn, at least for now my car will most likely look identical on the outside (aside from getting the car fixed where I got backed into). It's the inside where the car will look considerably different. Not that any of you would notice, but I'm hoping that different = better for the amount of money I've spent so far. In short, it will have a whole new cage that for now will make the car meet SFI 25.5 specs (with the potential to make it easily meet 25.1 specs in the future), all new interior including seat, dash, and tin (the floor in my car was getting bad), and all new wiring (this was the stupid thing that precipitated all of this). So, in the end I'll have spent a lot of money, and have a car that goes no faster, and looks no different to anyone but me. Perfect...
