Re: Congrats to the Butcher's
Thanks everyone! Yes we had a wild few days. Set the G record in a 20 mph crosswind on Thursday but not before our transmission won't go into second and on Friday sheared the wheel studs off as you can see in one of the photos.
For the record my motor in the car is a Tom Boucher, Rod Butcher, Jimmy Lewis collaborative piece. Both Tom and Jimmy know how to get it done. We have alot of people to thank for their help. First and foremost is my best racing buddy and good friend Jim Boudreau. Also I would like to thank Tom Boucher and Boucher's Automotive Machine. For 40 years he has supplied good reliable power. From my 434ci 830hp sbc to my 305 263hp stocker motor. Jimmy Lewis for all he has done to help us get to this point. Mark Lechook at Performance Welding who builds the nicest headers on the planet. Vic Santos for all his help on the dyno. Danny Ashley, Bub, Roy Freeman, McClay, Arnie Martel Mike Casey and Tom Goldman. My wife Denise for all a racers wife puts up with and driver, son and friend Chris. Without him I'd still be on the porch. I thank you all for helping make a dream come true! Rod Butcher |

Re: Congrats to the Butcher's
Congrats Rod & Chris! Also to the Boucher's Racing Engines Team! I would call that a very good weekend- you just set a very lofty bar for a fully saturated couple of classes.
Best of luck with your amazing performance, Dean |
