Re: Powerglide first gear
Thank you for the advice guys, seems a majority is to keep the C4 - this does save me some money to spend elsewhere.

Re: Powerglide first gear
Yep, 468 BBC on alcohol. I figure it is just a little under 700 hp.

If you dont mind me asking, how are you approaching the Stop set-up with the 3 speeds? Are you running t stop in 1st gear or 2nd gear? How low in the run is the stop coming on for them? Have a friend who may dabble in this who runs a heavy S/P car (SBC) with a Flying toilet injection system and a 3 speed. Runs 10.60's in 1/4 at 123. We dont run 3 speeds s I'm curious what others are doing with them and the stop? Thanks, Andrew |

Re: Powerglide first gear
I'm on the stop at 020 and its on for usually between 1.70 to 2.10 then it shifts into second. My car runs 10.teens usually. I here that toilets have to be shut back to idle to work well?

Re: Powerglide first gear
To bad I'm in AZ I have a B&M 1.98 glide ,w/brake. Bell housing cracked and welded. Install and dedenbear bell housing and your set. $900 plus shipping which wouldn't make it feasible.
